The “Friends with Death” quest line for week 2 keeps resetting on me. Every time I load up the game it’s back at the beginning and I have to redo all the work I’ve done. I’m playing the same save file with the same family, no cc or mods. I don’t understand why this keeps happening. Is it a bug or do you have to complete it all in one go to count?
excitingsarah Are you able to complete this entire set of tasks in one go? If so, does it still reset, or does that fix the issue?
You can also try deleting accountDataDB.package, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. Doing so will reset the tasks in any set you haven't completed, for example the week 1 tasks will still show as finished but partial progress in week 2 will disappear. However, this may fix the issue going forward.
