I know that I have done this and still when my sim is taking a shower/bath or in a bath towel their hair and makeup is not the same as what I have set to their everyday outfit
I think there used to be a bug report similar to this on the old forum, but I can't find the equivalent here. If you are seeing this issue in an unmodded save, you might want to start a new one in the Bug Reports section. Be sure to include what platform you play on and as much detail as possible on the steps you took.
