House building help
Hey guys,
I was not able to find the original source of this beautiful house, or else I would have just downloaded it to my gallery to figure this out. I love the way the pool is designed, but I can't figure out how to make it myself. Any tips? I also like how high up the foundation is, but I can only get the foundation in my game up so high...
@deejcake, most likely that is not a true "foundation" but the first level of the house made to look like a foundation at that angle. If you look at the bottom right of the lower level of the house (what appears to be under the part of the balcony (that has 2 couches and a coffee table) that juts out at a point, you will see that what looks like the foundation of the house actually has windows! 😎 And this lower level looks to be on a regular foundation that is colored the same as the outside wall.
This looks to be a way to mimic a split-level house since in TS4 we can't build into a hillside. By the mailbox there are a few steps to get up to the foundation, and then what looks like a giant foundation with the pool windows with stairs leading to the entryway. I have seen (and downloaded) a pool with windows like that, but it was made so that the windows weren't facing outside, but inside to a bedroom. Pretty cool, but not as much as the house you showed us! I have pictures, but I can't seem to find the ones of this pool. I'm not the best builder, but I can try to see if I can build a pool like this. 🤔😳
