How can I add/create another new sim?

I'm playing Sims 4 on my PC and I wanted to create another sim to pair up with my current sim. I read across few articles where they said to enable 'full edit mode' in CAS and you'll be able to add/create a new sim using the + icon beside your current character. However after going to the CAS full edit mode I'm still not able to see that icon nor find any place to add a new sim.

Any idea what's happening or if there are other suggestions?

  • @xiaowenho99   There is no need for cheats. Go to manage household and click on the household you are interested in (in this case this one with the blond woman) and then click on the pencil button. From there you enter CAS and can add extra characters to your family unit. (see picture)

Hey @GiardiniDiMarzo it works!! Turns out I was supposed to "manage household" at the world map view instead of travelling map view...

    Thanks a bunch!

  • In Sims 4, if you're unable to see the "+" icon in CAS (Create-a-Sim) after enabling full edit mode, it might be due to a restriction in the household settings or a glitch. To add a new sim, ensure you're entering CAS by pressing "Shift + Click" on your sim and selecting "Modify in CAS" after using the "testingcheats true" and "cas.fulleditmode" cheats. If the icon is still missing, try accessing CAS through the "Manage Households" option in the main menu, where you can add a new sim directly. Also, check if any mods might be interfering with CAS functionality and disable them if necessary.
