How do I get rid of roaches and mice in City Life?

I'm tired of getting constantly interrupted by mice and roaches and all the solutions I've found on the internet have involved mods, Is there a mod-less way of solving this?

    @eisTG You should be able to call the landlord to get rid of them.

    You can't get rid of the mouse holes themselves though so they will come back after a while

    So in other words the needs TLC plots are literally unworkable, nice.
