How do I have Sims 4 without Origin

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.65 I think. Whatever the current version is.
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Vampires, Kitchen Clutter Kit, and Everyday Clutter kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't really know how it happened, and to my knowledge, no one else has had this happen.
What happens when the bug occurs? Not much of anything. I just don't have Origin and yet I have Sims 4 and can even buy packs and install mods.
What do you expect to see? I expect to have Origin. But I don't have it and yet I have Sims 4 without issue.

It's not really causing any issues, but everyone says that you HAVE to have Origin to play Sims 4. I do know that if you want a new computer and want to keep all of your original packs without buying them again, I have to have Origin. But it's difficult to set up and I don't even understand it. I would like to know if anyone else's Sims 4 is like this or if someone can answer why it happened. All I did was go to Steam, bought Sims 4, let it download and such and it let me play. Like I said, it's not CURRENTLY causing any issues but if I plan on getting a new computer, then I would need Origin for it.

You no longer need Origin to play The Sims 4 on PC as we've released Origin's successor: The EA app. Mac players will still use Origin for the time being.
If you previously owned The Sims 4 and any of its DLC you can login to the EA app with the same account and pick up right where you left off in Origin.
