@bellacrumplb1 I just did a test with my Sim and put a suitcase in the lot, then dragged it in live mode into his personal inventory. Then I had him call his adult son and invite him over. Next I had the dad give the suitcase as a gift to the adult son (who lives on a different lot). This whole transaction seemed to go fine, so maybe check if you can do that with your Sim, and if it's then useable to the other Sim?
When he comes without a suitcase does he act like he has one (changing clothes, etc.?). You said you sold the suitcase... did you check if perhaps it's in the household inventory? That's where things go if you grab them and hit delete in certain situations. You mentioned a screenshot... Did it not attach correctly?
Hello!
Firstly thank you for your swift response and help ❤️
I tried what you suggested and gifted a suitcase to Knox Greenburg from a different household and lot. He accepts it but he does not seem to use it for the duration of the "stay over" as a guest. I went to switch to his household and checked that Knox has the suitcase in his inventory and I can interact with it fine as him, it was only when I invited him as the "guest" that he doesn't and this only happened when I deleted his suitcase. (I checked both inventories and household inventories and it's not there)
"When he comes without a suitcase does he act like he has one (changing clothes, etc.?). " Right when he spawns to my lot after inviting him, he does not have the suitcase with him and he doesn't act/behave like he has one for the whole stayover ☹️
The weirdest thing is, I invited a different household and just as I expected, they spawn, come into my door and set their suitcase down and they use it. HOWEVER, I know for a fact that this invited household does not have a suitcase in any of their inventories whatsoever, it's as if the game manually creates one for them.
Also here's Knox when he comes in without any luggage ☹️

Hmmm... interesting. So maybe the suitcase the guests 'have'/use is a spawned item that isn't really in their inventory? And maybe the guest who's suitcase you moved still sees his 'suitcase' as being on your lot, and you moving the suitcase caused a severing of the game's associating it with him (so it never 'unspawned' when he left the lot like it did for the other guests)? Weirder and weirder.
It seems that these new suitcases have some interesting functionality in the game. I'm wondering if they could even be used as a small dresser, if desired, functionality-wise, as the Sim seems to interact with them with much the same type of interaction set. Well, I'm at least relieved to hear that the guest still seems to have the normal behavior otherwise during the sleepover, whether it's deleted or not. So strange, though! Even though he doesn't interact with the suitcase, does he change clothes and other things he would do if he had it?
