I can only do the friendly waltz. There is supposed to be both a friendly and romantic version. Now my couples don't get a romance option when doing the waltz. They can do it with friends as well.
I remember it being said before the Royaties ep came out there was a waltz couples could do that was romantic. Am I missing something?
catloverplayer I just googled some information that seems to confirm that 'romantic waltz' is likely a mod.
With the wedding pack you add 'slow dance', which is romantic. With the royal pack you get 'practice waltz' and 'waltz together with...' for the ballroom dancing. Perhaps someone else knows of other options, but that's also what I've noticed in my game.
I believe during a Royalty & Legacy Grand Ball event, you can ask to be dance partners for… friendship, romance, or politics. Or something along those lines; I don’t have my computer at the moment and don’t remember the exact wording. But if it’s not a mod, perhaps you’re thinking of the Grand Ball event?
Ah...I'll have to try that soon. I have not done the grand ball yet. I was avoiding it until I made a lot to play with a ballroom. I like a lot of control. 😂 Thanks for the info!

So it only has to be during a Grand Ball Event?
catloverplayer I tried a 'House Party' and a 'Incognito Costume Party' and did not see that dance option. I'm guessing it does need to be a 'Grand Ball'? Do you know of any other situations that bring in the 'Dance Partners for Romance' option, PipMenace ?
