My sims child is sick with some sort of fever. With adult sims I just give them medicine and it goes away but she cant take the medicine? I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not but I don't think it ...

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
Is the child now able to take the medicine?
