I have actually used two different families in two different worlds . The Blast Event just continued on as normal.
As Katja1402 mentioned you can purchase items ingame. I had to use a workaround for the repair computer so there are options. I wish you good luck and hope you can get yours back up and going.
What was your workaround? I'm stuck there!
