For Rent changing lot types to Generic all the time
Hi I've gone to try and buy a residential rental as part of my game but every time I download a lot of the gallery the game is changing the lot type from Residential Rental to Generic and then refusing to accept I have a rental lot. I cannot then change the lot traits for each apparently/unit and the whole For Rent idea fails. So if I by a lot, it comes up as Residential Rental, as a building downloads and places you see the individual units appear but once the game places the unit the lot becomes Generic and the rental fails and doesn't appear in the list of rentals in Live mode. Please look at the images which show the squence of the issue. I've tried to repair my installation but that hasn't fixed it and I don't know what is causing it to fail as I do not use any Mods that link into the For Rent system. I've never encountered this issue before the Life and Death update / pack (which bought along with Lovestruck at the time time) so assume something in one of these may be causing the issue? Any ideas what the issue may be and how I can fix it as this is something I want to play with again but cannot at present :( Klaire
Sim cannot go to prom
Hello, no matter what I have tried, my sim cannot go to prom. I have researched and many have said it clashes with Get Famous, so I launched my game without the pack and it still did not work. I have also taken out all custom content and mods to see if that was the issue and it still did not work. I have turned off aging and it did not work. Prom has come around 4 times now. One of the times, I got the pre-prom get together invitation and it took me there, then I got the pop-up notification that prom was starting and I selected the option to go to the prom with him, then nothing happened. The game just went on like nothing happened, and prom was no longer on the calendar. Another time, I went to the pre-prom get together, then come 7 pm I don't get any notification that prom is starting. Once again, prom just vanishes off the calendar. The most recent time, I got the invitation to the pre-prom get together and prompted my sim to go, and then nothing happened. So I waited around until 7, and no surprise there was no pop-up notification to go to prom, and it just vanishes off the calendar. I am at a loss for what else I can even do. It's very frustrating as nothing else in the High School years expansion pack really excites me, and prom is what I was most excited for. When researching ways to fix this problem, most people posting about it are from 2 years ago, so I'm very confused on how this bug is still not fixed. Has anyone been able to go to prom with their sim??
My Ghost has become floating teeth
My sim who is a ghost just completed his unfinished business and got the burning soul trait. When that happened he become completely invisible except for his teeth. To interact with him I have to click on the teeth. I thought it I reloaded it would fix it but it didn’t. I do have MCCC installed right now. I couldn’t find this when I searched the forums but I apologize if it’s already been discussed and I didn’t see it
Infinite Loading Screen
So, I'm getting the infinite loading screen glitch and can't go to other lots. My game is also a lot laggier than it used to be, especially when loading up regular cooking from the fridge (gourmet cooking was fine though). I had not updated since before Lovestruck released because I usually wait for the game to be stable before I update (it's not been stable all summer). I updated to play the Reaper's Rewards Event, and was able to at least get through the event and unlock all the rewards on my account, but I couldn't even save when I finished it because of the loading screen glitch. So I'm gonna have to go back into my legacy family save later and just cheat the rewards. I hope the game gets fixed up soon. Now I can't even just play offline on a stable update since I decided to play the event. I can't continue playing at all right now. Unless I decided to just never leave my home lot, and that's not my play style.Sim can’t come back to life?
Got the new life and death expansion. Got the chased by death on my sim and she died. Wanted to play her as a ghost so I maxed out her ghost powers and made her life fulfilled. I don’t wanna start her life over so I don’t want to rebirth. Went through everything needed to make Ambrosia. Made the ambrosia and there isn’t an option for her to eat it! I’ve tried repairing the game, I’ve even tried to edit her in cas to see if I could bring her back to life. I don’t really wanna make my other sim become a spell caster just to bring her back! Why isn’t the Ambrosia working anymore? Anyone else having this problem? I don’t have mods
Sims 4 Gallery freezing pc
Hello, I am having issues with the game. Each time the gallery is opened, it's takes a couple of seconds and everything freezes. I can move the mouse, but everything is frozen. I can only press the window key and restart the laptop. I tried closing game with task manager, but nothing happens. I have deleted everything Sims 4 related on the PC. That's including the EA app and removing all mods of the PC. After installing the EA app and Sims 4, the same thing keeps happening. I don't know what to do now, because this is also happening on another PC. Both my PC are less than a year new, and run other games like cod, cyberpunk, Skyrim etc... without any issues. So it's not a PC hardware issue. Any help is much appreciated.
