UI skills and inventory issue
Hi. Posted this in technical issues but not sure if it was the right place. This is happening with and without mods. I've tested with no mods, cleaning L files, avatar cache, all the things that have to be cleared. My UI section - skills - will not load. I can click it and it just flashes and doesn't stay up. If it does stay up it shows that that sim has no skills or it may take a long time to show a skill but the skill won't stay, it'll say "Name has no skills" even when they have multiple skills. Also sometimes the inventory in the UI section won't load. If I have two or three sims and click between them it shows same exact inventory for all of them. It either stays that way or I just need to close it and open again and it updates. I've repaired a bunch of times, installed and reinstalled, tried new saves and it happens for each of them. I attached the exception file. this last exception file is from playing with no mods. When using mods I only use MCCC and UI by Weerbesu and I keep them updated. I do not use any CC. This has been going on for a few weeks. I play The Sims 4 on a Acer Nitro 5. Through EA app with every expansion pack, game pack, I think most stuff packs and kits. Died from a broken heart 💔
My sim recently died from a broken heart. 😭 I ended up exiting without saving because she was the only sim in the house. Anyone else had a sim die from a broken heart? My sim was in the process of completing the Serial Romantic aspiration. One of her romantic partners decided to just break up with her, for obvious reasons 😄, and her romance bar with this sim immediately went completely red and she continued to have the sad moodlet (which lasted days). She still had several romantic partners too so kind of does not make sense that she died from a broken heart while still having high romance with her other partners. I had her attend grief counselling but this did not help, also tried to attend cupids counselling but because she was no longer in a romantic relationship with that sim she could not attend that counselling. I ended up having her invite the sim over that broke up with her and performed many (many, many) friendly interactions until her romance bar was out of the red. This helped a lot, but I think EA needs to look at this death from a broken heart and re-**bleep** the options and variations as to why your sim would die that way.Sims will not take Pregnancy test.
Hello, I had this happen before, and it is happening again. I click on the toilet for my female sims to take a pregnancy test, and they just stand right in front of it and do nothing. I am wondering if this is a bug. So far this happened twice. I do have mods, so I will look into which mods are causing this issue. But I am wondering if there are others who have this same issue. And I know that there is a cheat for relationships, but I am having issues finding where the Proposal option is under Romance.
Game Crashes in build mode
I play with all packs and kits. No cc and no mods. On a 2023 ASUS Tuf Gaming F15. There is nothing on my computer but the Sims 4. Every time I start a new save I put my Museum in Newcrest. It has paint from reference paintings created by my Sims and the Jungle Adventure treasures dug up by my Sims. For many, many saves it has never been a problem until recently when I try to place it my game crashes. Can someone please help me stop this from happening?can't do anything with ground floor entrepreneur's table
I have one of the "ground floor entrepreneur's table" that my sim has been taking around with a bunch of stuff in its' inventory. I placed it on the home lot with the in game "place item in world" interaction and she placed it just off the actual lot parameters cause it was a relatively small lot with not a lot of open space. So I can't pick it up in build mode, but it also won't let me put it into her inventory or tend the table. "Tend table" is greyed out, try to "stock table" and I get a notification saying the table is full, but it isn't. "Clear table" just does the interaction but there's nothing to clear. I can "view inventory" but all the items are stuck and won't let me drag them to her personal inventory. I've done the "reset object" shift-click cheat, nothing. Using a different sim to interact with it, trying to interact with it having a different lot active, nothing. I've cleared cache files, repaired the game, everything up until uninstalling and reinstalling the game which I hate doing because I basically have every pack and it takes forever...... Mods or CC: Yes (about 3GB of mods) Game Version: 1.113, updated to the "Careers and Hobbies" DLC (not the newest 1.115 yet) Hi everyone, I'm running into a frustrating issue with one of my Sims (let’s call him Sim A), and I’m really hoping someone here might be able to help. Everything was going fine in my game until I noticed that Sim A suddenly could not be interacted with by other Sims. From the screenshot you can see that Sim A can still perform social interactions normally when he interacts with others, but when other Sims try to interact with Sim A they can only give gifts or tell group stories. Everything except gift and story is missing. On top of that, Sim A cannot be selected as a party guest or host. Here’s everything I’ve already tried (and I clear local cache and reset sim every time): - Renaming the Mods folder → bug persists - Moving Sim A to a new household → no effect - Renaming the Documents > The Sims 4 folder → bug disappears in a brand new save, but Sim A saved from the bugged save is still glitched - Using Sims 4 Studio for batch fixes - Using Resaver (4 attempts, no fix) - 50/50 method with mods. Finally, every mod out, still the same bug. Sim A’s traits and behavior seem totally normal. The only unique thing is that he previously had some skills from a gameplay mod （Basemental）that adds custom interactions (now removed), but even after removing it completely, the bug persists. Has anyone encountered something similar or found a workaround for Sims that become “unselectable” by other Sims for social interactions? Thank you for any advice!
