Can't load my played households
Endless loading screen has been an issue for me since the marketplace update arrived and I haven't been able to load my 2 previously played households ever since. When I try to load my household it just keeps loading forever. Once I sat there like 40 minutes and it still wouldn't load. I have surfed all across the internet to find solutions but nothing has worked, and I feel like I have tried everything I could find. I play on PC, windows 11. Here's what I have tried: Disabled all mods Repaired the game in EA app Deleted lastException files and localthumbcache in The Sims 4 -folder I saved my two households to library and uploaded them in to a new game. Still wouldn't load either. Loading households works fine with NPC households. I read that the issue is because of the changes made in the familytree system. Well my households are as big as 6 generations. Any ideas? Please, I just wanna play ...
Item saved from web gallery no longer available
I'm on PC and I've just updated my game today. When I was offline a few days ago, I went onto the web version of the gallery and downloaded a couple of items, but couldn't access them because my game was outdated. Now this message, "oops items from web version of the gallery is no longer available" keeps popping up every time I open my game and during random times in the middle of my gameplay. I've already tried deleting caches, removing the items I've downloaded from the web version, adding them back, nothing helped.
2 Zhaleh Amani’s in Game
I have never installed mods and I have 2 Zhaleh Amani's in my game. I repaired my game and she didn't get deleted unfortunately. I was hoping that this latest April 2026 update would help, but it didn’t fix it either. I saw someone else post this but they deleted their mods and got it fixed. Again I don’t have mods so that won’t work for me :/ Is this happening for anyone else?
Can't open The sims 4 game again due to new update
I'm having trouble getting the app to open and work when I click on the game it acts like it's about to load then just snaps out again and I really don't know what to do I took all the mods out I clear the thumbcache, I just feel defeated with this game atp.
Cannot purchase books, cannot cook, cannot upgrade objects
1. No mods, no CC 2. Cannot purchase all skill books from bookshelf or computer. The list is incomplete. 3. Cannot upgrade objects (upgrade parts are in inventory and handiness skill is maxed out) 4. With Simple living challenge, cannot cook food (prepped ingredients, etc are available and cooking/gourmet skills are maxed out) 5. Uninstalled/reinstalled game, deleted EA folder and started fresh. Problems solved but returned after a day of playtime.
Saves lost after latest update 2026
After latest update my saves doesn't work in Sims. When I launch the game it comes to main menu as if I was playing for the first time. And when I try to load my game it doesn't do that properly I can select that and it loads but it asks for the season I want to play in and after that when I choose the world it looks like picture attached.Anyone else having same problem and can it be fixed somehow??
