Receiving the same bug over and over
playing on PC, with mods already tried: no mods and repairing my game, tried with mods and deleted any UI mods, as well as updating any issues. put my better exceptions report into claude and it's saying that: Repair and mod removal probably won't fix this one — it's happening in EA's own launcher code (SetButtonData is not a function), which points to a bug in their build, not your files. Would probably need a fix from sims team on this one, please assess.
unselectable sim
I used a pre-built household from the gallery and edited some parts of them. When I went to move them into a lot it only showed 7 out of the 8 as selectable characters but showed all 8 there. It would let my other sims interact with that sim, but it wouldn't let me play as that sim. As soon as I hit play that same sim aged up as soon as it started. I even closed the game without saving anything and re-opened it and tried placing the same household down only for it to do the exact thing. I even evicted them from that lot and then it kicked that sim from the household without notifying me. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
The geekcon competition don't have the option both on computer and game device
i want to fulfill the location aspiration but stuck on winning geek con competition. when the geek con appears and the notif of competition show up i try to select both computer and game device (i forgot the name lol) it doesn't show up the option to participate in competition. my sims have both max on programmer and gaming skill and have disable the mod. i check in the forum for hackathon have been fix two mount ago but for some reason in my games now i can't even participate both the programming or gaming competion.
High School Years Prom - Never Gold Tier Glitch
No matter what I do, and I HAVE tried. I always get Silver Tier. I cancel other actions, and b-line it for every objective - not even enjoying Prom, it never works when I do. Even if I'm casual about it, barely get Silver. If the ability to complete the needed requirements for Prom allowed an extra 30 seconds at least, there is a higher chance I could. Even with a Prom invite. Just wanted to get gold once. Once. Now it's become a post. Maybe also allow quicker cancellations of tasks and the object actions take precendence over all other queued actions for the active sim. Otherwise, no idea...
[HSY] Thriftea vendor not appearing for existing save
Hello! I was so excited to see that the Thriftea bug (no attendant at counter, multiple poetry contestants instead) was fixed in the February 25th patch notes. However, it seems that the only way I can get it to work is if I start a new save file entirely. My current save file (started in 2014) still has the bug. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything and replaced the lot with multiple different boba tea builds. It simply won't work. Am I missing something? Is there any way I can fix this, even though it's now considered "fixed"? I have never used CC or mods. There's 8 poetry contestants hanging out lol Please help ;-; Thank you!
