Only one aspiration for children instead of 5
Good morning so I don't know what's going on with my Sims 4 but there's only one aspirations for my sim's child with multi-skill and there has to be like 5 aspirations in there to pick from there is supposed to be creativity, mental, motor, social, and multi-skill but there's only one which is multi-skill
[HSY] Thriftea vendor not appearing for existing save
Hello! I was so excited to see that the Thriftea bug (no attendant at counter, multiple poetry contestants instead) was fixed in the February 25th patch notes. However, it seems that the only way I can get it to work is if I start a new save file entirely. My current save file (started in 2014) still has the bug. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything and replaced the lot with multiple different boba tea builds. It simply won't work. Am I missing something? Is there any way I can fix this, even though it's now considered "fixed"? I have never used CC or mods. There's 8 poetry contestants hanging out lol Please help ;-; Thank you! Missing Ghost
Back in Winter in my game, I had been playing the O'Sullivan household with two elder parents, a daughter and her husband. The daughter and husband moved out, but before they did I made sure to make a will for each parent to leave heirlooms etc. Then I marked the parents as not being played. Fast forward to the beginning of the following Summer and I rotated to play the daughter and husband again. They were going to visit the parents but then I found out the game must have killed them. The dad was still in their relationship panel as a ghost but no sign of the mum anywhere and their home is empty. I can hold a funeral for the dad, but it's like the mum never even existed. I got no notice of their death, no heirlooms passed on, nothing. Is there any way to locate the mum or is she gone forever?
aspirations, grades and character values aren't changing
I installed the Realm of Magic game pack on my PC yesterday and since then none of my Sims are completing aspirations, their grades and work performance aren't increasing despite doing homework and exams, and character values aren't changing for my teen no matter how many dishes she washes or how many times she does homework :( I've tried all the basic steps like realoding the game, loading another family, uninstalling my game entirely and re-installing it, and also tried the "repair game" option but it hasn't worked. I don't have any mods just expansions etc.
naked body texture overrides the textures of clothes and hair
so i have this save with my ocs and i wanted to make the genderswap version of it, copied the said save and started doing the thing, changing characters' genders in cas because i didn't want to lose their relationships, memories, careers and so on. one character turned out totally normal while the other one just turns beige the second you enter the in-game mode. the further the camera is, the more this becomes visible, you can see how polygons get colored with the body texture one by one as you move away. this is the first time i see a bug like this and i couldn't find any similar cases. all my mods are updated and i tried removing the most problem-causing ones from the folder, didn't help. tried to reset bathing outfit and was met with the same result. it happens to everything she wears, even maxis clothes, and even when the character is naked, to her hair, makeup, eyebrows, body hair and eye color. my better exceptions mod doesn't detect anything alarming or conflicting. also once she hugged the other character his clothes' textures got transferred on her model as well??? you could write a creepypasta based on this i swear
I can't get into my sims home.
So I recently moved my sims to a new lot, but it's cliched somehow. My sims can move in and out and do things, but to me it just looks like when you visit a lot with your sim. I can't change the floor in gamemode, it's just stuck on the highest setting and won't let me go down. How can I fix this? I allready tried re-loading the lot, closing and repairing the game, but nothing has worked. Please help! I really want to play the new event... I don't have mods installed rn, I do have a few pieces of cc, but don't know if that could impact this?
Credit for Romantic Explorer aspiration goal applying incorrectly
I am going to use romantic explorer for this example. It had a part in it in which my sim has to use the romantic blanket 3 times for Romance. Both he and his wife had 0 of 3. I have them woohoo and they immediately get credit for all 3. This has happened with other aspirations as well but at the time I was not sure. Now I am. I will list the others individually as I come across them again unless someone says there is no need.
Business not working.
I've been playing with Business and hobbies for a couple weeks now. Then I logged in a couple days ago and customers aren't coming to my business, they will spawn at the corner of the lot and have "Customer" over their tags but just stand there stuck. Sometimes if I delete the ticket kiosk and put it back down it will work for a couple clients but then it stops again.
