My Sim has only been on the receiving end of such a demand. We should have that in their menu. Guests can be very annoying, tampering with stuff they ought not, etc.
Yes. As said, it has always been that way and always has been annoying. I believe I've posted about wanting the option to be available to the Sims we are playing before... but that was likely lost along with some other things I've thought would be reasonable/logical to be added or tweaked.
Oh well, much reason for my Sim to lock doors against anyone and everyone and be a loner Sim.
