All you have to do is have ONE of the sims level two abilities to 10: Charismatic (practice in the mirror) and Comedian (have them practice on a microphone or write jokes on the computer). After that, only use HUMOR/FUNNY interactions, not friendly, ONLY FUNNY, and then you'll see them getting along with each other again.
