I can't use the elemental display rack in the sims 4

The elemental display rack doesn't work in the sims 4 for me (I click on it and it doesn't even have any interaction options that pop up or anything). I installed mods before, but that was on my old computer and I'm still not sure if the mods are on this one but I'm almost certain they're gone now. So can I please have help because I'm starting to think that my elemental display rack is unusable.

Oh wait sorry I just looked through "Household Collections" and I realized that I was trying to put in some metals and crystals instead of elements.

To use it drag an element to it and let go. The rack does not have any interactions apart from that.

I just tried that and even with mods disabled in settings nothing I collected will go in to the rack.s

I have the same issue on PS4. I did get the elements, can't figure out how to drag items and there are no options on the cubes or the rack.

Edit: I found the answer on reddit, you have to press square on the item in your inventory, then hover over the rack and press X. Just in case anyone else needs the answer.

Also pressing square and triangle together lets you sale a whole stack of fruit or whatever.
I kept seeing all the drag it to the rack comments and I knew I could drag when in the sale menu but it wouldn't let me put it in the rack. I'm so glad you figured it out though.
