@italianjax Is it just this type of CC that is not working for you? Are you able to get other mods and CC to work in your game or is this the only one you have tried so far?
I use body hair CC files that show up in CAS in the tattoo category. They seem to be working fine in my game.
I have tried a couple of mods and can't seem to get any. I am not good with computers either. I know the hair would be under tattoos. I have tried everything I know,. I wish the Sims would just come out with a add on for it or I wish when you download Sims you get the mood from the sim that way. I don't know what to do. Thank you for responding.

@italianjax No worries, we can go over some of the basics here if you'd like. Usually when we talk about a "mod" in Sims 4 we are talking about some type of tuning or script file that changes how the game works. An example of this is a file that changes how fast a Sim eats. For objects like furniture or clothing, hairstyles, tattoos, etc., that we see in CAS but do not change how the game works, we call those files Custom Content, or CC for short. Since the item you are looking to add is Custom Content I'll just go over some of that for now.
Many Custom Content files are compressed when you download them, like in a .zip or .rar format. The Sims 4 can't read those types of files so you'll have to unzip or extract the files before you can use them. After you unzip the files you will see something called a .package file. These .package files are what you will put directly in your Mods folder. This is the usual file path for your Mods folder:
Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
You'll also have to check the option to "Enable Custom Content and Mods" in your Game Options screen in the "Other" tab:
It's best to start off slow on adding Custom Content until you get the hang of things so maybe only try a few items for now. I never add more than five CC .package files at a time to my Mods folder and I check each one in my game immediately. If something does not look quite right I exit my game without saving, delete the file, and delete the localthumbcache.package file from my Sims 4 folder (more on the localthumbcache.package file below). Custom Content files can become obsolete any time there is a game patch update. It's very important for the health of your game that you make sure your Custom Content is still current and compatible with the latest version of the game. Outdated mods and CC can cause errors in your game and even ruin a game save.
One other file you will see mentioned very often in the AHQ threads is the localthumbcache.package file. You'll need to become very familiar with this file if you choose to use mods or CC in your game. The localthumbcache.package is a small file where the game autonomously stores certain information so that it can access it quickly. If you have an outdated or obsolete mod or Custom Content file in your Mods folder it's possible that data from that bad file could also get stored in the localthumbcache.package file and continue to affect your game even after you remove the outdated mod or CC from your Mods folder.. For this reason it's very important to delete the localthumbcache.package file from your Sims 4 folder any time you remove outdated mods or CC from your Mods folder. The game will auto-generate a new localthumbcache.package file the next time you start it. I delete this file every time I make any change to my Mods folder.
I know this sounds like a lot to remember for now but after you've used mods and CC in your game for a while it all becomes rather easy.
Here's a link to a great article on for more information on how to install mods and custom content and how to properly maintain them.

Please do ask if you have any more questions on any of this stuff. Good luck, I hope this helps :D
