i. need. help. read this please. mods will not load when enabled

My questions never get answered but this might be my worst malfunction ever, so please someone read this.

I turned off mods and scripts in the game, not the title screen, to see if mods were why all of my sims in a relationship would reject flirting from their partner (awesome issue i have to deal with even after this one is dealt with). re enabled them, and they will not load.

yes theyre in the correct folder, yes theyre enabled, ive already moved Mods out of the EA folder and back into the new Mods folder, repaired the game, restarted my computer, deleted cache, etc. im going to try uninstalling it, and incase it doesnt work after waiting years for that to finish, please let me know if theres anything else i can try
