i uploaded caribbean update but nothing new is in the game

I opened my game and it told me that I needed to upload the Caribbean upload. I did,but there are no new items in the game. nothing Caribbean anyways. help please!

They don't show like new items normally do, however they are there.

Game still not loading
managed to load into manage worlds and clicked on my household, was taken to the loading screen and straight back to manage worlds. not sure what's going on still after this 2nd update.

can't adopt pets
