Infant gameplay broken since update

I'm having problems with infant gameplay since the new update. I have never had issues with the infants before the new update, but since the update nothing works properly. If I try to make my sims interact with the infant to fill their needs, or click on the crib to put the infant to bed, my sim will just stand still and not do anything. My sims will also randomly put the infant in a random room, and then immediately go to a sofa to 'rest'. I use CC and have one mod, everything is up-to-date so I don't think this is the issue. 

Has anyone else had any issues like these? Would be grateful for help/advice!

    It would be best to try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there. It is best to make sure that no mods/cc are causing the issues.
