infusion fertilizer
I can't use infusion fertilizer on intergalactic growth pod or the Bizzare Fruit. Is this a bug or are we not suppose to be able to?
@goldann25 Are you referring to the "Fungal Infusion Fertilizer" from "Outdoor Adventure"? If not, please clarify.
I added a young Bizarre Fruit Plant and a Intergalactic Growth Pod Plant to this lot. I added the "Fungal Infusion Fertilizer" to the sim's personal inventory. I see the option to use it on both plants. Please see below.
Being out of season doesn't seem to affect their ability to be fertilized. The Intergalactic Growth Pod Plant's season is fall, and the Bizarre Fruit Plant is 'all season', but when I placed them outdoor in summer my Sim still got the option to fertilize both with the "Fungal Infusion Fertilizer".
Does your sim have full access to them? Is the fertilizer in their personal inventory? Have you waited to see if the option to fertilize comes up over time? Do you have Mods or CC? Can you please include a screenshot of what you see when you try to direct them to fertilize?
I use MCC sometimes but it is uninstalled now and I have not used it on this save. It must be a bug because the one I got from the space mission looks like this:
I harvested the plant above and planted what I received from it and it to work:
I don't know why it happened but at least it worked. The bizarre fruit I bought from the Curio shop I can't harvest yet because I am not at that point in the story. I will try it and see what happen when I get to that point.
@goldann25 Hmmm... If you start to see the issue again please exit your game and remove the localthumbcache.package file just to make sure there isn't any cache remaining: Exit your game then exit Origin. Delete the localthumbcache.package file in your 'The Sims 4' folder.
I'm happy to hear the issue seems to have cleared up for you! Happy gardening! 🙌
