Inheriting question

My sim has been awarded all the medals in the military career, is there a way for my sim to pass them on as a set? If they are all in the case does that mean I can make sure the medals stay together as a set? or will my sims child just inherit the case?  There are 10 medals and I would like them to be kept as a set but a sim can only name 5 items that are inheritable.  Does anyone know?
