is there a cheat to get rid of the kleptomaniac trait?

I have a sim who was once a game-generated townie kleptomaniac. I didn't like that, so I enabled testing cheats and modified her personality traits in CAS. I forgot that Kleptomaniacs don't lose part of their traits even if they're modified, and I played her and involved her with one of my sims. She's a happy Geek, except every now and again she becomes tense with the urge to swipe something. Is there a way to stop this? My experience is that getting tense with the urge to swipe something gradually goes away over time, but I'm not willing to wait.

I've tried a few different ways to try to remove the trait:

traits.remove_trait klepto

traits.remove_trait kleptomaniac

traits.remove_trait trait_kleptomaniac

traits.remove_trait trait_klepto

Is there a way to remove whatever's left over from the sim having the kleptomaniac trait, the thing that keeps making her tense, with cheats?

    I would think that traits.remove_trait trait_kleptomaniac should work.

    Did you enter testingcheats on first?

    @Crayola4321 Did you try adding the trait, then removing again ?

    You will need to temporarily remove another.

    So basically

    1. Remove random trait
    2. Add klepto (traits.equip_trait trait_kleptomaniac)
    3. Remove klepto (traits.remove_trait trait_kleptomaniac)
    4. Add back random trait you removed.
