Is there a way to keep Sims out of rooms where other Sims are sleeping?

If I have my Sim do homework, read a book, or eat a meal, they ALWAYS go into the bedroom where some other Sim is sleeping, even if it's clear on the other side of the house. I often resort to locking doors, just to let my Sims sleep without some random parent or sibling taking their dinner or book into the bedroom to eat where someone else is sleeping.

It's incredibly annoying that even a Loner Sim will congregate with other Sims to do the most mundane of activities. I just want them to grab the nearest chair, park it, and do the thing I directed them to do.

  • @emelvillejr I've had this too so I also lock the doors to specific Sims. Yesterday I had a child Sim take their breakfast to the parents bedroom and sit on the bed while the parent showered. So now that door is locked to her.

It can also help to set the table if you have Parenthood. They should eat at the table if its set. I also keep bookcases out of bedrooms if it's happening, because they take a book from one bookcase and go and sit near another.

It's random lots affected for me and it's funny because I'm on one of the Cottage Living lots now and it's happening and it also happened on this lot when I played a different household on it in a previous save game.
