@21abc396552, technically in past versions of the game (TS2 and TS3, and perhaps TS1), spiral stairs and regular stairs took up exactly the same amount of spaces (4 for each), but the difference was that those spaces were arranged differently.🤨 Regular stairs would take up 4 spaces in a long but narrow row, and spiral staircases would take up 4 spaces in a square. Still, depending on the layout of your Sim's house, one of the staircases would often be a better fit.😉
However, just like @Murry2211 mentioned, we can kind of make spiral stairs in the game with the configurable stairs that we already have in the game! 🙌 It might take a little practice to get the hang of it, but it can be done! 🙂
Omg why aren't spiral stairs a thing yet. It's so crazy. They don't even need to be configurable. If they simply lock into place like the ladders do I'd still be unmeasurable amounts of happy.
