It can snow, but the snow doesn't accumulate...

I have tried everything, I have updated my driver, scan and boot my systems etc, and also trying and still currently searching for any broken mods I have... I have thousands of mods, would mods cause no snowfall, or would it be something else?

@JaySnowy You're right, there's no reason your laptop hardware or software should have this issue. Even the iGPU should have no problem with the game (although maybe not on ultra settings), but please do confirm that Sims 4 is using the Nvidia card. The simplest way is to tell Windows to do so: open Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings, click Browse, find TS4_x64.exe on the list, and set it to the high-performance option.

The other questions I have are whether this happens in other worlds and during winter, as opposed to fall. Please let me know what lot and world you're playing now too.

@JaySnowy Please move the Mods folder to the desktop and test again. You don't need to save your progress, but it's important to determine whether this is a mod-related issue.

If the snow cover shows up with no mods present, use the 50/50 method to find the problem mod:

If the snow still doesn't accumulate, please post a screenshot of your in-game graphics settings. You can put the game into windowed mode and use Windows key-shift-S to capture that portion of the screen. Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to your reply.

@puzzlezaddict Hello thxs for your help, yeah it isn't the mods... I'm still not sure if my driver needs an update or not, but will see.

@puzzlezaddictThanks so much for your help! I didn't know that snowfall can only happen in winter. Once the season changed, the snow accumulated so now I know.
