June 2nd Sims 4 Update
Does the update just automatically get done through Origin or do I have to physically have to do something?

@MarkGeordie88 There is a setting in Origin in the Application Settings that allows you to enable or disable the automatic game updates. If you use mods or custom content in your game you might want to consider disabling automatic updates. This will give you a chance to temporarily remove your mods and CC (as is recommended) before the update installs. After you have removed your mods and CC you can install the update manually by clicking on the Sims 4 game tile on your My Home screen.
Many mods require updating after a game patch. Using outdated mods could cause problems in your game or even ruin a game save.
I don’t use mods so that aspect is okay.
I have it enabled as automatic updates.
Ive launched Origin from my desktop and when I click on the game library I can launch The Sims 4 and that’s it.
Im assuming the update will just automatically update at some point today?
@MarkGeordie88 Yeah as soon as the patch is released you'll see it on the Sims 4 game tile on your My Home screen in Origin. If you are currently playing I believe that you'll get an in-game notice that an update is required and you will switched to off-line until you have installed that update.
Not playing at the moment but I’ll keep checking. Thanks.
