JUST STANDING AROUND
My sim just stands around whenever I give them an action to do.

FleurLaFleur I'm so sorry, that really does sounds exasperating! Let's try the following:
- Close the game.
- Go to your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] and move your The Sims 4 folder to your desktop. (Leave that original The Sims 4 folder on your desktop. We will need it for reference later.)
- Then go to your EA App library, click the three dots and choose uninstall.
- Once the game has finished uninstalling, please reinstall the game.
- Do not add any of the content from your old folder on your desktop, and do not add any Mods or CC.
- Then open the game and see if the issue is gone.
Please let us know the results and we can go from there.
Hi again...I've already uninstalled and reinstalled twice without any Mods or saves....then when I play a game for a while...get plants and traits etc and start going to university etc...I start standing around again....My now sim has great grand children and I really don't want to lose them. Thank you for your help but I've tried everything at least twice over.

FleurLaFleur Could you do a few more things, please? If you have a last exception file since this started, please attach one. The more recent the better.
Also, please screenshot details views (so dates of files show, not just file names) of your user folder, Mods folder, and Saves folder.
It might be tomorrow before I can actually look at those, but I'm hoping they provide useful info.There are no last exceptions of the standing around. This has been happening for months with the same game. I've since deleted that game and started a couple more game lines as it was annoying me so much. I gave up. So it's ok....thank you anyway luthienrising
