Life Stage Offset in Simology (+1 Age Display) Clean Install 1.121.361.1020

Fresh base game only install of The Sims 4 version 1.121.361.1020 shows consistent +1 life stage display offset in Simology. Hover tooltip displays correct age. Occurs in both DX11 and DX9. No mods, no expansions, clean install.

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

RAM: 64GB

Install: Fresh OS drive install, base game only

 

Reproduction Steps:

Uninstall game and EA App.

Manually delete installation folder.

Delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.

Reinstall EA App.

Install base game only with no expansions.

Launch game.

Start New Game.

Create Teen.

Enter Live Mode.

Open Simology.

 

Observed Behavior:

Teen Sim:

Hover tooltip shows Teen (correct).

Simology shows Young Adult (incorrect).

 

Young Adult Sim:

Hover tooltip shows Young Adult (correct).

Simology shows Adult (incorrect).

 

Career panel shows text fragment "career-j".

Offset appears to be +1 life stage across all ages in Simology.

 

Confirmed Not Caused By:

No mods installed.

No expansions installed.

Tested in DX11 and DX9.

Tested across languages.

Clean reinstall performed.

 

Expected Behavior:

Simology panel should display the same life stage shown in hover tooltip.

 

Suspected Cause:

UI tuning or life stage string index mismatch in current build.
