Mac Version of Sims 4 on Steam?

Hello, I have a question about Sims 4 on Steam. I want to play Sims 4 on my Mac, but I can't because there is no Mac version on Steam, although on Origin, Sims 4 can be played on Mac. Is EA still planning to bring a Mac version out on Steam? Sincerely, Malik

Were they ever planning on bringing out a Steam version? Or are you just hoping? Can you not run the game through Origin?

@Bluebellflora Nope, I can't run Sims 4 on Origin. When I try to download Sims 4 on Origin, Steam opens automatically and shows the following error message: "An error occurred while updating The Sims 4 (invalid platform)". I also can't buy The Sims 4 on Origin because I only have Steam credits. I don't know if a Mac version will ever appear on Steam, but I hope so.

@kimilir1 you can't, Mac is Origin only, it also says windows only in Steam.

That said, if you bought it recently and haven't played it, you can still return it and get a refund. Then you can buy it on Origin?

I'd file a refund steam is VERY good with refunds and get it refunded and buy it on orgin (packs are on sale there too)
