In the other households alot of my male sims are randomly wearing some female clothes. When you go into the household to edit, the female clothes do not appear on the side to choose the clothing, it just seems to have been spawned randomly on the male. You can change the clothes manually. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Yep. This has been happening in my game for a while. Long enough where I can't remember when it started. Always gives some of the guys ladies formal wear for their everyday outfit. At first it was pretty rare, but as my NPCs have died off and been replaced, I've seen it more and more. Seems to do it for NPCs that first show up in the game wearing a career outfit like the NPCs created in Strangerville. And since Cottage Living, it has started creating a bunch of bald guys too in my game. Not sure what the cause is though.
I had the issue of male bartenders not wearing their uniforms, but dressing in random women's CC clothing and accessories. Sometimes they would show up at bars in nothing but female underwear. I couldn't allow that in my videos, so I found what was causing it. It was a CC version of the bartender outfit and the tags were wrong. If the tags are set for the outfit to be appropriate for both males and females and restrict opposite gender is also selected, then that's what causes the game to glitch using female situational outfits and accessories on males. So rather than continually removing situational outfits, all CC uniforms for whatever career the male sim is in should be looked at and properly tagged or deleted. I hope this helps.
