Missing Floor; Can't replace

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.61.15.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Deluxe Edition and the Holiday Celebration pack.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know how it was caused, but I think it occurred sometime while I was building the second floor
What happens when the bug occurs? The floor pieces are missing. They are recognized enough to put items on top, but not in a way that sims can use them like floor pieces.
What do you expect to see? I'd expect to not have a hole in my floor or at least be able to toggle or poke something so that I can fix it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Screenshot of the problemThis is a screenshot of the issue. There is a line of 3x1 tiles on the second floor of my bathroom where I can place items, but the rest of the game doesn't recognize the floor as there. My sims can't use the items placed on that spot and can't pathfind over it even though there are objects like a carpet placed there at the time. I have tried rebuilding the room, and even placing a new style room on top of the existing one there to no success.

    @DamonAverette

In build mode click on the folder icon in the top menu bar:

    then the house icon:

then in the window that pops up put in a quick description that it's a test lot so others don't download it into their game and click the upload button:

Let me know when you've done it and I'll download it. Is your Origin name the same as here?

So I had some trouble booting the game back up, but that was personal computer problems. When I did, I found that the problem seems to have fixed itself. I tried replicating it and it didn't happen again. If you want I put it up on my gallery. Yes. My Origin name is the same (damonaverette). Thank you for your help!

@lepetitemais I don't believe I put a staircase there at any time during the building, nor did I change too many walls. But the issue seems to have fixed itself for now.

@DamonAverette I'm not sure if this is related, but there has been some staircase-related bugs like these, and it might be related. If it's that bug, you can try a couple of things:
    1. If you're on an active lot with a household, try to travel.
    2. Go into Manage worlds (exit the lot to map screen) and then reload it.
    3. Restart the game (like you did, usually fixes a lot of issues.)
    4. In Origin (when game is not running,) right click on The Sims and choose "Repair game".

Glad it worked out and hope you have fun gaming!
