So this seemed fixed for a while and then started happening again. this time it seems to have something to do with platforms....
I'm having the same problem! I just got around to celebrating Christmas in my game so I'm really bummed out.
Someone elsewhere mentioned needing the present pile from decorations? I'm going to try that, but I think this may be a legitimate bug.it doesn't seem to be a 100% of the time bug if you know what I mean - it doesn't ALWAYS happen 100% of the time - I usually have them decorate tree skirt first to see if it glitches. if the tree skirt works fine, the present pile usually does too
