Hi! Because I've been having this issue with my legacy family, and I REALLY wanted to play with the Christmas tree for Christmas winterfest whatever, I decided to try something for kicks & giggles AND IT WORKED!
In the spot I wanted to place the tree, I drew a room with a fence and completely removed that section of floor.
Then I added a deck piece to fill the hole and put flooring back on
The tree worked again! I could add a treeskirt, and therefore presents.
This is obviously not optimal BUT IT CAN BE A WORKAROUND 🙂
