Mortician Career Issue

Hi.

Three in-game weeks ago, my sim started the Undertaker career. I then got my sim to quit the day after as I decided I wanted her to go into university instead. Three in-game weeks later, she's graduated and I wanted her to start in the Undertaker career again as a Mortician. However, the career seems stuck on the 'Recently Let Go From This Career' for both the Undertaker and Mortician career options. 

If anyone has any idea how to fix this, that'd be brilliant! Thank you :)
