Moschino Camera Mode Won't Stay on Same Floor When Moving

I just downloaded the Moschino pack and was excited to use the new camera features, but ran into a bug on one. I set up a fancy studio in my basement as most of the house is so cluttered I could't really find a good space for it, and I can rotate my camera side to side but if I try to move it forward or back, the camera view shoots up to the ground floor. Hitting up or "W" or down or "S" all cause the camera to leave the basement and end up on the main floor, and literally on the floor. The camera is at foot level instead of eye level and it's purely by pushing forward and back. I'm assuming this doesn't happen on ground floors or above but I have to be very careful with using it underground. This is especially frustrating with the curved backdrop because when I rotate I inevitably hit the edge and would like to push in towards my subject to get in front of the wall.

Since this is hard to explain, I just simply uploaded an unlisted video of the event here on YouTube: https://youtu.be/ZIhPWeR8_nk

Be warned, my game has some NSFW mods in play (mostly a mosaic remover) and though I didn't see anything inappropriate pop up while recording the video, I feel obligated to warn you in case I missed something.

One more element that appeared in the very beginning of the video was another thing I wanna talk about, and that is it is REALLY hard to keep sims in place as well as ask more than one sim to come down for a shoot. As you saw in the video with Ariel, I had just reloaded the game and both my sims were inactive with no queue of tasks, but Ariel just walks away when I ask her to come over for a picture. This happens all the time, and in most cases the sim in question gets stuck in an animation and walks half way up my house before turning around and finally joining me in the studio. This also sometimes even happens when using the markers, but mostly what happens is I'll select 2-3 sims for a photo, one or two will show up and stand in their spots like good little models, but one will almost always be so late to the party that the others give up and leave (usually fully leave, like leave the house). Then I try to bring them all back and they just walk away and ignore me (if I had a nickel for every time a sim said, "I should really get going..." as soon as they get to their spot, I'd have gotten this DLC for free).

Eventually this sometimes leads to serious confusion as I retry but end up assigning multiple sims to the shoot and they all sorta don't know where to go. For example the 3rd missing model may still be walking to their spot, but I've given up and called 3 brand new models to the spot cuz the other two walked away, and now two people head to the same spot and...chaos ensues on some level. Even in cases where I get all three finally in their spots to take a picture, the process of changing their outfits or what-not takes so long that the first to arrive gives up before I can get back to the camera, also when I ask them to change outfits (using the friendly system, not the freelancer) this often instigates a conversation with the sim and even the other models sometimes, which if I'm not paying attention, can waste a lot of time if I don't consciously stop the convo immediately. I feel the sims when on their spots need to be more tethered to it, and their autonomy disabled more. Hell, sometimes I get the 3 sims in place perfect but while walking to the camera one of them starts talking to the others and they turn in their spots, then I go to take a picture and one of the models is no longer facing forward. This usually still results in good pics but if I had a specific layout in mind I'd be really frustrated by this. In one case a Sim turned a full 180 and when I took the photo their back was too me even though the marker pointed towards the camera.

These are minor bugs and nitpicks I just wanted to point out are consistently happening for me, but not ruining the game. Just would be MUCH better if this would stop happening.

    Sul Sul, @Hyperion_Rail!!!

First of all, thanks for taking the time to raise this issue to our team! We appreciate your help a lot. :eahigh_file:

Do you mind having a look at this report as it sounds just like the first issue that you described in your own report. If you feel like the report is about the same issue, you can hit the [Me Too] button on the report. 🙂

For the other issue that you describe there about Sims being kinda lost when being ordered to a photo shooting, I did not find any related report for this yet, so if you don't mind, could you please update the format of your report to what is outlined here? If you do so, we should have all the relevant information from you to further investigate this issue and that would indeed help our team a lot! :eahigh_file:

Thanks so much again and Happy Simming! 🥳
