Move Household Freezing/Glitch

When I go to move my Sim's household it won't let me move into any lots. It shows blue boxes with "Apartment Traits", even though they aren't rental lots. It even lets me select a park as if I can move into it, but regardless of which lot I choose it wont let me get past the "The _____ Household is moving" screen. I have no mods installed am on a Mac and I tried a different save a did not have the same issue.
