Phone calls do not tell you who has died
Apologies if this is a duplicate, I tried searching for it and could not find anything. This has been going on for awhile now in my game, but sometimes when I get phone calls about a sim dying, it fails to actually tell me who died. This combined with the dead sims not appearing greyed out bug makes it very hard to tell who has died sometimes, especially if your sim knows a lot of other sims. Sometimes I can guess based on if they are actually sad or merely "fine" now that that distinction exists but it is still frustrating. Essentially what happens is my sim gets a phone call (often times it looks like it is from a sim who has called recently), I click on the phone to answer and then my sim has a sad or fine reaction to the death moodlet, there is no pop up saying so and so has died. I am on Mac, I have not yet updated after the Nov 4th update but this has been happening in my game for ages. I do have a few mods (mccc, better build buy, ui cheats). I am trying to test it without mods but it's a bit hard to have something like this happen consistently since it requires triggering a phone call, open to suggestions on how to test this more efficiently.
Where did my children go EA?????
Okay so this JUST started after yesterday’s update, BUT I just moved my legacy save into a new house. One mom, one dad, two pets, a boy toddler, and a girl infant. For the past day I’ve been trying to get the children’s needs up but anytime I try to bathe them or feed them or change them, my sim will not go and do the action. Sometimes they say they can’t access the area, but most of the time they just stand still and don’t even go to try. I look online and someone said to move the children out and back in. I went to move the kids in with the grandparents and now they’re NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. LIKE they have completely disappeared from the world. No one has relationships with them, and there’s no evidence of their existence even within MC Command Center. Am I crazy or did this happen with the fix yesterday?? my plan is just to restart having kids, but like I’m so frustrated. Please someone give me ANY help!
sims game crashed
so I recently downloaded some mods and cc and after that my game started to crash, so as one does I deleted the mods and cc, still my game either is stuck on the loading screen or when I click 'resume game' it goes to the screen where you pick a city to live in with the household I chose to play with in a bubble above the city. so I click on the city and on the household, then I click play and it goes to the loading screen but then automatically goes back to the city screen. I really don't know how to fix this and it is getting quite annoying.. can someone help me????get to work bug?
I play modded (I took them off so I could see if it was them didn't work) I keep getting stuck at the loading screen when I click join to work (doctor) I did change the hospital so something prettier and thought it was too big but when it did finally send me to work I changed it to something smaller and it started glitching SO BAD. I don't know what to do...? I've tried repairing, I've tried restarting. I've tried everything idk what to do.
