Households that I save in "other households" sometimes are suddenly gone.
Hi, I never really notice on time and often create a new save file but when I just checked all my worlds I saw suddenly some households are gone that I had living in lots. These are family's I created and then saved to other households by clicking the "heart" in manage households. I like to do this so I don't play sims but have "npc's" I created story's for in the world. Anyways, some are gone, randomly 5-6 households are gone gone, not in other households or active ones, they are also not in the friends list of my other sims anymore, they did not die they just pooof gone. I tried to fix my game but I am not sure how I make sure this doesn't happen anymore, is this a known bug and has anyone else had this? If I just create another save file will it stop? I play with the following mods: ww mcc basemental clothing etc gambling venue list fashion authority Thanks!
Resume Game causes never ending loading screen
I can sometimes 'load game' and repair the latest one and it will work for awhile. Usually until I travel somewhere (or go to work with a sim). Most recently, I was fixing up a newly purchased rental property and I had to return home to rent it out but I never got there. I've repaired the game numerous times, and repaired the saved games from the load game screen. I trashed the 'latest.. ' whatever/can't remember the wording, it's not crash) files from the Sims 4 folder in the Electronic Arts folder. It has not created another one since I did that, although I've had to force quit multiple times since. It's also been randomly quitting on me a lot more lately. I have just purchased a couple of packs from the exchange, and it seemed to happen after that. But I can't find those to disable them. If I uninstall the whole game, what will happen to my saved game? Can I uninstall and reinstall everything and make it work again with my existing game file? I'm on a mac laptop, OS 26.3.1 (a), No mods, but lots of additional content.
Can't Connect to Gallery
Hey, so I've had issues connecting to the gallery for a while now. It keeps prompting me to connect online, but I haven't had to before this started happening, I could just automatically connect to the Gallery. Every time I click the connect button, it just keeps loading and loading but it never seems to actually connect. It never says that connection failed or anything, it just keeps loading as if it's trying to connect online. I've tried to just sit and wait for it to connect, but it just keeps spinning like it trying to connect. I've tried moving my sims 4 folder onto my desktop and trying again to connect but the same thing still happens. I disabled my Mods and CC and it still does the same thing. I've tried deleting old saves and clearing the cache (which I'm still not entirely sure how to do), but nothing really seems to be working. I'm not really sure what else to do, and I'm on an iMac so I can't turn off my Bluetooth because I'd be unable to use my computer. Has anyone else had this problem or maybe knows how to fix it?Can't add sims to dynasty
Hi! Just purchased and installed Sims 4 Dynasty expansion. I created a new Dynasty, including the skills and ideals without any problem. However, I cannot add anyone to the Dynasty. When I click "Add Members," the box that should have options to add is completely blank. My Sim lives with 1 other person, who she's engaged to. I cannot see that Sim nor any others at all. Screenshot attached. I quit and tried again (error still happened), and I repaired the game as well (to no avail). I don't have or use any mods. I'm playing on a Mac laptop. Please assist! Thanks.
Furious and Fancy! But what's broken?
I added the Regal Residence attribute to my Sims' lot. As a result, some of my Sims occasionally get the Furious and Fancy moodlet, which makes them angry because "[Name] hates it when broken items are nearby in their regal home." I have been unable to figure out what items are broken. Any tips on how to figure out what broken item is setting off an infant or toddler?Can’t transfer funds from residential (not rental) lot sim to retail store.
I read that this was fixed even though I was doing fine. The retail was working fine without an active owner (seems the owner moved into the atmosphere). I found another sim in the game and purchased the retail. Retail had no funds so could not open and I was unable to transfer funds from the owner household to retail.Game crashes
I've been having the same problem, too. I'm updated to the latest version, and I play on Mac. Mine would happen unexpectedly--the game would be running perfectly fine, and then the game just closes on me without any warning. I'm going to see if it's any of my mods that I have installed, but I've cleared my caches, repaired my game, and cleaned out my save. I have no visible signs of corruption in my game either, so I'm really not sure what it is.
