[LLQE] Event not visible in game
New event same problem :( Deck the Palms event missing in-game and can't claim rewards | EA Forums - 13071890. I cant joint the event at at all - game is updated, I am online, I've never used any mods, I had the pop up window to show me "new event started" and I even see the advert for it in the main menu (the middle one on the screenshot). But the event is not in there for me, I dont even see the Event tab in main manu. I was unable to join the previous event for the same reason and its getting annoying. I want to join and I want the rewards. 😭 Edit By crinrict: Added tag to title.
Turn off "Flirt with [acquaintance]" wants?
I sometimes enjoy letting my Sim's wants dictate gameplay. But my Sim is now in a "romantic partnership" with her soulmate, which is heading towards a proposal and marriage. I've turned off the "exploring romantically" setting, but she still gets wants to "Flirt with [acquaintance]", which I don't want her to do. And these wants get in the way of other wants that I might want to act upon. Yes, I can give her a potion to reset her wants, but short of that, is there anything I can do to turn off these "Flirt with [acquaintance]" wants? (Or any other type of wants that I don't want to act upon?)
Sim Won't Sit to Write, But Will For Everything Else
Hello! I was playing on a new save when I tried to make my sim write, yet she refuses to and glitches out. However, when I try to make her do anything else on the computer, she's just fine. I would have bug reported this instead, yet it only happened on this save. I tried it on my 100 baby challenge and my sim could write just fine. Any help would be appreciated! I use a Macbook, with no mods and no downloadable content besides the free holiday pack. I would add a video of it occurring, yet I can't. But, I can at least tell you that she at least tries to sit in the chair before the animation just cancels and she can't sit. She was able to do it just fine yesterday evening before I went to bed.
Are stand alone horse stables operable with the Businesses and Hobbies EP?
I built my Sim a horse stable and impulsively adopted 6 foals. My decision came after I trained my other sim's (who happens to be a Rancher) defiant horse in the hopes of entering a competition with him, only to find out a horse must be a member of the active household (boo!). Now, I have this gorgeous business venue I designed as a functioning stable and training center but my horses will not stay on the lot I purchased for them! Each have assigned beds that are actively marked as residential rooms on the business venue lot. My thought process is, considering the rooms are marked as such and each horse is assigned a room, they'd stay put on the business venue lot because there are rooms set as a residence. Honey lives in a high-rise in Ciudad Enamorada with her Dalmatian and I don't plan on moving her. Obviously I really have an issue (lol). I literally just want to frolic with my foals until they're old enough and trained well enough to be entered into competitions. The presets of my business are even set to help me train the 6 of them more efficiently. I've read plenty of 'play with genetics' or 'move them into other households' scenarios and they will simply not work for the experience and life I'd ideally like this particular sim to have. I've had the Businesses and Hobbies EP since it's release, and this is the first time I've made an effort to utilize the pack in an intentional way. I have 14 sims in total, each of which have in-depth narratives. I was hoping for true flexibility within the Businesses and Hobbies pack as I watched the gameplay live review, and it was enthusiastically stated a few times that we'd have so many options for businesses. With all the options, I was hoping for thoughtfulness in cross-pack gameplay. Would love to hear from other simmers and the EA Team. Dally, Brûlèe, Black, Snoh, Crème, and Reo Opal deserve to live a good life too! I would really like to avoid selling my babies :(. Looking forward to any helpful insight. everytime I try and open my gallery it just loads, it never does anything els. I can't save my sims to my library or to the gallery because of this. I've tried everything. I've reset my computer, my router, I've gone into the game and done what google tells me to do, I've deleted all my mods, etc. nothing is working. id really like for my sims to meet and to make a storyline but I cannot do that if my sims isn't working. how do I fix this?
Tend Tattoo Table Not Working
Whenever I try to get my sim to tend the tattoo table, he just goes on his phone or starts reading a book. I've tried doing this both with and without mods and it doesn't seem to work no matter what I do. I've also tried making sure the areas with the tattoo tables are set to public (it's a small business) but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Does anybody have any solutions for this?
Reaper Career is Broken. Help?
I recently bought Life and Death EP and my sim cannot progress in the active Reaper career because everytime they Scry for Travel to a lot to reap, the lot is has no body. I've tried different sims across comepletely different saves, but this issue persists. It's pretty much impossibe to miss a dead body because the reaper sim ONLY travels to completely empty lots. Is this normal? Help? INFO: Macbook (M1, 2020, 8GB Memory) MODS: 2.95 GB
