Moved my household now my sim can no longer write songs

I moved my household from one house to a house in a different expansion world. I moved and replaced all of my furniture from my old house into the new one. Now one of my sims can no longer write songs. Whenever I click on a piano, guitar or violin the only options that pop up are: Play Concerto, Play Song and Practice. My sim is level 10 in all three instruments and was able to write and license songs before I moved my household just fine. No matter if I replace the instruments or use old ones the option to write a song is no longer available. I have closed and restarted my game several times but nothing I try is working. Please help!!
