Moving a Small Business to a different lot?

This is about the Businesses and Hobbies pack (I also have get to work if that's of any use?)
My Sim has a small business (ground floor business, apartment on top). I want to move to a fresh lot so my Sim has more room for the business and her growing family. I've read somewhere that if you just move, you lose all your perks etc. Is this true, and if so how do I get around it? 🙂
the business is tied to your Sim so if you move the Sim, the business moves with them. I don't think there's an open bug report for Sims loosing perks but the easiest is to just try.
Save your game under a new name (so you still have a backup if things go wrong), then move and see if it works.
