Muddled pronouns

I took a break from TS4 late last year to focus on school, but when I returned last month, I found that the pronouns in my Sims notifications were all over the place. Things like a Sim being referred to as he/she and they in the same notification and even he AND she even though they were strictly male or female. All my Sims are males with male reproductive biology and physique or females with female reproductive biology and physique. I don't remember these bizarre errors happening before the break.

If it helps, I use MCCC, but then I used it before the break as well. Is my game glitching or is it like that for everyone?
