My comedian sim cannot refine her comedy routines

crustale10​  Nope.  You should have an option on the computer to refine.  It's been a while since I did any but, if memory serves me correctly, you have to practice a routine before you can refine it.  So, send the sim to a microphone and practice, then check back on the computer and you should find the refine option for the routines you practiced.

Thanks, I see maybe I hit a limit on number of short routines. But all of my routines are poor quality right now and I still can't refine any of them, does that have to do with the number of routines I have as well?

crustale10​  There is a limit to the number of comedy routines of each type (short, medium, long) you can write.  I forget exactly what the exact number is atm, but you've probably hit it so can't write any more until you clear some of them out.  Your pic shows you can still write another medium routine though.  You can only refine routines until they are excellent quality, usually twice from poor to normal and normal to excellent.

Afaik, there are two ways to clear old routines out of the sim's inventory.  You can gift them to another sim, or you can recycle them if you have a recycling machine (Eco Lifestyle).
