My grown kids creep me out

Why do my grown children constantly call on the phone to hook one or the other of their parents up with a total stranger? It really creeps me out when one of my grown kids texts and says one of their friends is dying to ask the parent out but is too shy and can they give them the parent's number. Kids shouldn't be trying to break up a long, loving marriage that raised them in a loving home. ☹️

In the same vein, it bugs me that they don't call them Mom or Dad which to me isn't hard to have them do. Are they one of your parents? Call them Mom or Dad, whichever works. But it's disrespectful to call your parents by their first names, nobody does that IRL.

And it's super creepy when they call me and tell me that my newborn (which they have never met) is a cool person to be friends with. What? They're BABIES, they aren't 'cool', they're not much of anything yet. Yeesh.
