My households won't upload to the gallery.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.98.158.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Werewolves game pack, My Wedding Stories game pack, Grunge Revival kit, Vintage Glamour stuff, Vampires, Tiny Living, Throwback Fit kit, Incheon Arrivals kit, Snowy Escape, Seasons, Realm of Magic, Parenthood, Paranormal Stuff Pack, Moschino Stuff pack, Moonlight Chic kit, Simtimates Collection Kit, Luxury Party Stuff, Laundry Day stuff, Jungle Adventure, Journey to Batuu Game pack, Island Living, Holiday Celebration Pack, High School Years, Get Together, Get to Work, Get Famous, Fashion Street Kit, Everyday Clutter kit, Eco Lifestyle, Dream Home Decorator game pack, Discover University, Desert Luxe Kit, Cottage Living, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Carnaval streetwear kit, industrial loft kit, blooming rooms kit, bathroom clutter kit, backyard stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Trying to upload a library item to the gallery.
What happens when the bug occurs? I press "Upload to Gallery" like I used to in the past and get the loading circle. It will stay there and never process the gallery request. Nothing can happen in my game until that loading circle goes away. Eventually I have to externally close my game. The gallery runs completely smooth after their new updates, yet no matter what I do I can't upload anything.
What do you expect to see? I expect for the gallery request to be processed and for my household to be published to the gallery.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Before the recent gallery updates I would upload sims fine. I didn't attempt uploading for a couple weeks but now that I've tried it isn't working.

I have tried solving the issue by running the "Repair" option on the EA app and it didn't work.

I have not tried uploading from my account on a different device, and I have not uninstalled and reinstalled the game because I believe that it might remove my saved library. (??)

This is definitely frustrating because even if the gallery is having all sorts of trouble after the recent maintenance, I still wanted to continue my hobby and upload sims anyways.

@304jess Can you load new items to the library ? What happens if you upload directly through CAS/build mode and not from the library ?

The library is local to your current computer so on another device the households won't be in your library unless you copy over the files from your tray folder.

I uploaded directly from CAS like you said and it worked haha! That's a temporary fix I guess but still wish it would work from my library. I'm assuming I'm the only one having this problem, so do you know a potential fix?

@304jess I tested uploading to the gallery for my game and that worked fine. Haven't seen any other reports either.

Maybe something is blocking your connection for the upload. To be sure, downloads work ?

Here I am, one year after this was posted originally, and I am having the exact same problem. Except, I can't upload my lot from my library or from build mode. After some experimentation, I noticed that I can upload rooms to the gallery both from build mode and my library, and I can upload households from both cas and my library. It seems to be just this one house that I built that won't upload. It's just a loading screen until I exit the game.

I am having this same issue as well! I have not been able to upload households to the gallery in any capacity for at least a month now ☹️

I'm having the same issue. Just a loading screen and I can't upload anything to the gallery. Has anyone figured this out? I've ran the repair multiple times with no luck! Oh and I have no mods

Next time please make sure to create a new thread since this one is pretty old. But since you are all getting a similar issue fairly recently let's take a look at it here.

Firstly, are you using mods or CCs in your game? Do you have a lot of households/builds already uploaded in your *
Gallery? Are you using any antivirus program that could potentially block the access to the Gallery online?

Hello, I'm having trouble saving to the gallery, I have no mods or cc, I've restarted the game and redownload it 4 times now I'm still having the same problem.. Help?

@al_valdez117 Is this the only upload you have issues with or can you generally not upload things ? Does downloading work ?

I can upload the builds I make just fine but when it comes to the households themselves I cant upload them at all. I hit the button and then I am in an eternal loading screen and the only way to get out of it is to close the game manually. I thought it would be fixed with the update but it was not. I saw someone on here who had the same problem and they were able to solve it by going into create a sim and uploading to the gallery from there but that also didn't work for me.
