My Newcrest town is empty

Hi, I've just downloaded Sims 4 and when I went into Newcrest the whole town is empty. I've tried updating and repairing the game but it's still the same. Please help.

    @miori90 Sorry for the confusion. Newcrest is supposed to be entirely empty lots for you to build your own town (or download buildings/lots from your library or the community gallery). No worries, there is nothing wrong with your game. Have fun!

Sorry I have one last question. Is there a way for me to play online even though I got the Sims 4 for free?

It does not matter that the game was free. The Sims 4 is not an online game. The only online option is the gallery which you have access to.
