@coolmelots3066 This is usually a mod/skin issue

You have to completely remove your mods, then repair the game, then check if the issue is gone. If so, you can start putting your mods back.

Hi @ultraboy124

did you try repairing your game through Origin ? Did you try changing them in CAS ? Does that get rid of the blackness ? (if you give them a different Skin tone for testing a few)

I’m having the exact same problem, except that it’s not only when it’s inside, it’s all the time. Not only my sims but all the sims in the game are all pitch black & it’s been like that for months now and I don’t know how to get rid of it. I don’t use any mods and I never had.

Could you post a picture ? Did you try repairing your game ?

i just figured this out for myself. all i had to do was turn off laptop mode. it was a simple solution really
