My sims take an hour to chat with strangers

Almost every time I try to communicate with unknown sims (but this can happen with sims in my household too) they will take a long time to have a first contact then (in some cases the interactions are complicated even after the first meeting). Either they will try to look for a place to sit but they walk strangely, slowly, back up, stop then start again (this only for discussions with unknown sims). So my game runs very well (with the usual bugs of the sims) and it is only the sim with the one I try to communicate and mine that bugs, the sims around have no problem.

I want to point out that this bug has been present for a very long time and that I'm reporting it because bug fixes are in progress.

I'm playing on a MacBook Air M4 (I've never had a game run this smoothly since then, but the bugs are still present).
I'm playing with MCCC and UI cheats as mods, but the bug is still present when I remove the mods.

    are you seeing this on a specific save ? How did you remove your mods/cc ? Did you try a folder rename or just disable them ?

    No it's on every saves. I remove my mods by  getting them out of the folder, and I didn't rename the folder or disable it.

    Try the following

    - Close the game
    - Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    - Repair the game
    - Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
    - Start a new save game
    - Check if you still have the error
    - Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
