My spouses are siblings now

For some odd reason, now every time I give my sim a tattoo, whether in create a sim mode or by going to a tattoo place, when my sim is done getting there tattoo and are back in their household or out of create a sim the spouses are now not only spouses but siblings! I can’t even correct that in create a sim but they’re married. Like what the hell. I can’t seem to go in to edit mode and come out of it without married sims becoming siblings. Help!
