I only do simple weddings now. However, I find it helpful prior to a wedding or other big event, to make a club of all the family members I want to attend. Then I can call a club gathering if people don't show up. I usually find that not everyone invited attends events, no matter what they are. I'm not sure how the game decides who's "available".
Thak you so much for weighing in. I never have had much luck with forming a club. Both families have five kids, plus both parents. And if sibling have significant others . . . I need to better understand how to properly how to employ MCCC to allow for more members. It takes time, and I'm already at the wedding date. May I scream, now?
