Need help building a retail store!
What kind of retail stores can you create and what all do you need to start it? My sim just bought a retail store front and I’m not too sure on how to start it or what all it exactly needs.

I'd recommend first reading Carl's guide on retail stores, it has way more information than I could type out including how to get started, running a retail store, what you can sell (which is almost anything, though he does cover what you can't sell), managing employees, interacting with customers, etc.
To answer your primary question though you need a counter and then put a cash register on it as the basic retail necessities. Other than that you just need items to sell!
