my sim goes to the hospital without me to give birth
hi! I’ve been playing the sims for years now, and I remember I used to get the popup that would ask if I wanted to go with my sim to the hospital when they give birth, now when I select to have the baby at hospital, i don’t get asked? it’s a super simple but cool game feature that I can’t seem to figure out anymore. can anyone help? i play pc btw!
Gifting a celebrity
Why can't my sim give a "friendly gift" to a sim with fame? I tried cheating the relation to max and just 1 fame star, but there is no way to gift anything... I find that a tad annoying as my sims often gift friendly gifts in order to pass items between households. Is there a way around this?
Walls error
as you can tell by the title I’m having some problems with my walls?? I trying to create some sort of curved effect on my walls however when I placed the curved walls half of the walls didn’t show up but made the ‘placed’ sound effect. After trying numerous times to get this to work I just went back, further before when I placed the curved wall. I’m now just trying to place normal straight walls but the game is not showing me anything. It’s making the thud noise like I’ve placed them but they’re invisible!! Pls help 🫶🏽🫶🏽The Hermit of Granite Falls
I've had a look online but can't seem to find anything useful so thought I'd ask the question here. The Hermit is Outdoor Retreat, do they have a hidden trait that makes them the Hermit? If so, what is it (so I can give it to someone else)? I'm currently working on a new save file where I'm going through all the townies and NPCs that I can in order to freshen them up but when I went to the deep forest I found Paka'a there as the Hermit. Is the Hermit a specific NPC or are they just a random townie the game generates (I currently have the no random townie generated mod)? Not even a full in-game day has passed and I have death by accidents off in the neighbourhood stories. Any information or advice would be appreciated.Applying NPC Jobs
So, I did something without thinking 🤦♀️ I enabled the ability to move in for one of the NPCs in my main save, specifically one that is a nanny for a household I play as regularly — so she lost her job. To find a cheat to reapply that career, I've tried using this post: https://www.tumblr.com/bethsims-nocc/181151512324/assigning-sims-4-npc-jobs. I've done it both with the NPC living in the world and not, but nothing has worked. It's quite an old post (2018) so perhaps it's just outdated, but does anyone have any idea if there's another way? My sim died without completing its Soul's journey. In fact, it completed only the first stage. Unexpectedly for me, it lost all of its traits that I bought for aspiration points. What stage exactly is needed for the playable ghost to retain all the traits? And I am not asking about the Rebirth! Just a simple ghost that is added to the family as playable.

Hello, My vampire sim has become a mentor to a very new vampire and their relationship is close enough that I would like them to become siblings, but because they are not from the same family I would like to show in the family three that she "adopted into the family" (kinda like added into the family register kinda thing). My main vampire has a wife and adopted child, so ideally the "sister to be" would show as aunt to the kid and sister-in-law to the wife (if you are looking at the picture, the red head is the new vampire and the blond is the main vampire). Is this something that is possible? Thank you in advance ToKi
