Issue With New Flared Stairs
As you can see from the image, I am having difficulty placing the new flared stairs in my manor house - which would look absolutely amazing if only they would work. The stairs I had there previously were identical but without the flare, and fit perfectly, even with objects at the top of the stairs. Trying to add any amount of flaring results in the "can't intersect with walls" error as above. I have tried removing all the walls around the stairs (the only ones being those in front which they abut against), but this does not work. I can place them in the middle of the garden, where they do not touch anything, perfectly well, though those leading from the terrace at front and rear also cannot be altered without a "cannot intersect with fence" error. Removing walls/fences and then trying to place stairs afterwards does not work as they seem to ignore the moveobjects cheat and still will not place. Anyone else have this problem, or a possible solution? Also, removing one side of my stair rail causes the railing to no longer meet up on corners, which means I have to continue to put up with railings clipping through the walls.
Antique Jeweled Ring (Spoiler Alert!)
Ok, so I had my sim put on the Antique Jeweled Ring and she got the "Heir of Desire" curse. I tried using a Potion of Curse Cleansing (RoM EP) on her, but it did NOT remove the curse!?! Short of completing a Fortune Aspiration and selecting "Remove Curse" afterwards (As it says to do), or the "Untamed" spell "Decursify" or the "Right of Dissolution" from one of the Mage Sages, how the bleepity bleep bleep do I remove this curse from my sim??? My sim who is a Mage, KNOWS the Untamed spell, "Decursify", but can't cast it on herself even though now she's cursed??? Or in the case of the "Right of Dissolution" from one of the Sages NOT working to remove the curse, just as the "Potion of Curse Cleansing" did not work itself. Plus what's this I'm reading about how the "Heir of Desire" curse coming back repeatedly, even when removed using the Fortune Aspiration "Remove Curse" solution itself??? Sorry for the spoiler but I DID try to warn people in this post's heading! ANY advice on how to remove this curse I'd really appreciate!! (I really don't want to do the Fortune Aspiration cure with this sim!) THANK YOU!!!

How do you modify a relationship In the new Royalty & Legacy Pack, hen they have very long names ... Like ....Grand Duchess Cordelia Thebe V, usually its .... modifyrelationship lee grand marie grand 100 LTR_Romance_main This is the usual way to do it but when they have a very long name how it is done Please . Drones! Argh!!!
My sim recorded a homestyle cooking video, released the drone in the house and do you think I can find it now?! Can’t find it anywhere… Can we not do an update where there is a way to locate some computer or something? Or some sort of base that it returns to like a robot vacuum when it’s running out of charge? I can’t find this thing anywhere… Any tips would be most welcome, I’ve tried most of the usual stuff. Thanks!
[RL] Encouraged Careers+Behaviors vs Discouraged
I am a little confused by this. My Sim wanted to start a Dynasty as a singular household so I created a sister for her and started the Dynasty and chose the following ideals: Devious, Bold, & Passionate. The first 2 Ideals encourage the common Careers of: Secret Agent, yet the Bold Ideal has Discouraged Activities of: Watch Tv, Watch Movies on Tv, & Browse Web........... My sim got a career as a Secret Agent and part of the work tasks are to Browse Intelligence which is under Browsing Web. Why is this? I'm instructed to get a career that is encouraged by the Bold Ideal yet under the SAME Bold Ideal there's negative repercussions for doing the job tasks. Am I not supposed to do my Daily Task for work because if I do it's counting as a Discouraged/Negative points? Literally every time I get to rank 2 and start my Daily Task my rank is reduced to rank 1. Seems the only safe thing to do is own a store or small business to escape this loop of promotion+demotion.
Hired services not arriving as expected - help!
I'm having an issue with the maid not showing up. The police also did not show up when I called during a burglary. Pizza did arrive though during my initial start of the game when it has you go through the tutorial steps to get Satisfaction Points. Needing assistance to get this fixed. Repairing does not work.
Adding Relationships to Patched Legacy Families
Is there a way to add a Sim into a family tree from the patch update, when those Sims are only portraits without data? I would like to link my Dirk Dreamer to Darren and Darleen in the family tree, but it is a save prior to the legacy patch. Though I could create a new save file, I have too much time invested in this particular save, and starting a new would be a major logistic headache for such a minor tweak. Any ideas, or is starting a new save the only way? Thanks!
