Gshade toggles not working
I've had gshade for a long time now and today i decided to get relight and try some new presets out. Everytime i load into my game and toggle ADOF for example it does nothing, when before it did. I tested it on my old presets that it always worked on but still, nothing. Its the same for MXAO and a few other toggles. I cant edit the amount of them or turn them despite the box being ticked. I've uninstalled and re-installed a few times now and each time its the same. Not sure what caused it or how to fix it.
build mode glitches or sims 4 cc glitch
i just updated my sims about 2 weeks ago and i got a lot of cc content and MCComandCennter and **bleep** and for some reason my game wont let interact with the sims and tell them to do stuff unless i get a house that is premade..and when i make a family and i want to get a bigger lot and get a house from gallery it will load the house but i have no interaction with my sims anymore and i cant tell them to do anything and it wont let me quit and exit and save..i would have to restart my whole laptop..i play on a 2024 macbook apple. so i tried to repair the game and than also take out all my cc content and MCC and **bleep** but it still doesn't work properly and i dont know if its the game or its my laptop so i repaired it with the cc stuff and everything and still nothing. i would like to show someone what i mean, so if anyone wants to do a google meet or zoom or like a facetime or anything like that. please let me know and i can get help. thank you!
Missing Ghost
Back in Winter in my game, I had been playing the O'Sullivan household with two elder parents, a daughter and her husband. The daughter and husband moved out, but before they did I made sure to make a will for each parent to leave heirlooms etc. Then I marked the parents as not being played. Fast forward to the beginning of the following Summer and I rotated to play the daughter and husband again. They were going to visit the parents but then I found out the game must have killed them. The dad was still in their relationship panel as a ghost but no sign of the mum anywhere and their home is empty. I can hold a funeral for the dad, but it's like the mum never even existed. I got no notice of their death, no heirlooms passed on, nothing. Is there any way to locate the mum or is she gone forever?
My plants cannot be planted at my new House.
Story: I've been planting my plants in the Garden Planter Box on my first house, and it was working fine. Now I've built a new house (lot) with more Planter Boxes, bought and moved to the new house (lot) but I can't seem to plant anything. I've tried moving, selling and re-buying the Planter Boxes, nothing worked. I've tried with Snapdragons and Dragon Fruit and even bought new seeds to see if it'll work. Didn't work. So, I moved back to my old house (selling the new one and buying the old one), uprooted some of my plants and replanting them, it seemed to work just fine. So, I moved back to the new house and tried it again, but my sim still wouldn't plant anything. There is the option to plant when I clicked the Garden Planter Box, but when I click plant and selected any plants to plant, my sim just ignored it, wouldn't even go to the Garden Planter Box, and the "planting" icon/action on the bottom left corner just disappears. I've read that the "Green Thumb" trait is the problem, but I can't seem to delete the trait, since I've bought it with the "Satisfaction" points ("Super Green Thumb" trait). Recap: - Planting just fine in House 1. - Moved to new house (House 2) - Can't plant anything on House 2 - Moved, sold, and re-buy the Garden Planter Box - Still can't plant anything - Moved back to House 1 - Planted plants in House 1 successfully - Moved back to House 2 - Still couldn't plant - HELP! (My massive source of income is by selling my plants. $6,950/10 Dragon Fruit, $556,000 for 20 Garden Planter Box)
Childhood Enemies
I need a cheat command or something to remove this Childhood enemies from the relationship. I have searched and searched and I couldn't find anything. I did find this comment on Reddit..... If this is true then it is not reasonable. If they can grow up and show to be good friends, best friends, close and amazing compatibility......this would tell you that they've gotten over it and moved on. They cannot have one conversation without losing it on each other and they can't build good sentiments because it trashes them every time this happens and i am sick of it. I am not going to make their forget each other or anything that will make them fully lose their history. So skip any suggestions for that kind of nonsense. It seems like most things in this game can be added and removed, raise or lowered in some way. There must be a command that would allow this childhood enemies to be removed. This is wrecking my plans to marry the sisters to two brothers. I thought I could deprogram it out of them but now I see I won't be able to do it naturally unless i am missing something. I don't want to split the brothers up or use different sisters. Are sims like objects saved into the game? is there a way to edit them? Something like that? Please help :)Thriftea and library disappear
When I go to travel to either of these lots they show up on the map but once I load into the lot the buildings disappear and I don’t know why. I thought it was just a glitch but then after leaving the lot and trying again the buildings are no longer shown on the map either and I don’t know how to fix it or how it happened. Also when I hover over the lots it now says they are residentials.
Is it possible to get a not-interested SIM to be romantic without a cheat??
Out of boredom, I had an occult sim start unleashing different spells to see the effect. One NPC is not interested romantically with men or women, and is not open to trying it. When the occult sim does the infatuate spell, she’ll go over and kiss the character that I want. When she does this, I notice a bump on the romance relationship. However, when trying to flirt with the NPC, it’s still greyed out because not interested. I haven’t had enough time to play around with it, but I was wondering if anyone had tried to be flirtatious with a not-interested sim and wondered if doing the infatuation spell enough times will work.
