New infant update rant

I just need a yell about this for a bit just to get this off my chest.
This is mainly geared towards that infants I'm happy about the smaller base game changes.
What even was the update?? We literally got nothing but environment décor. Absolutely useless!! The fact that it was an absolute capitalist move of putting everything inside of the new expansion pack was just beyond disrespectful. They shouldn't have hyped up any of the base game updates if they weren't going to give us anything. The infants literally cant do anything no development stages, they aren't able to develop in anyway which doesn't make sense. Ik they put most of it inside of the expansion pack but the toddlers are at least able to gain skills which I might add is BASE GAME SINCE ITS A LIFE STAGE. The update gave us the original baby with just more of an annoyance level. There are not enough clothes or hairstyles. Diverse hairstyles at that, tell me why my black family who has a female infant only has the ability to use straight hair if I want her to have some hair on her head?!?! The clothing items are lack luster.
GIVING US THE CARPETS WITHOUT THE TUMMY TIME FEATURE WHAT!?!?! They could have given us one thing at least. Additionally if they wanted to have the newborns and the infants drop diapers GIVE US A TRASH CAN THAT FITS INTO NURSERY ROOMS!?!?! And make picking up diapers be an autonomous feature.
I don't know if this is just an issue that I'm having up but they fixed the newborns so the interactions are more seamless but the infants are now the ones having the issue. I click clean baby if my parent sim was holding the baby they will put them down and then pick them up again to bathe them -_-.
